Good folk, a plan has occurred to Us for the simplification of Our lives and yours.

Those of us who make our home in the North have traditionally known only these distinctions among ourselves: kings, jarls, freemen and thralls. We, Reynard and Brynhildr, do declare that from this day forward there shall be no distinctions among Our subjects but these. We shall fill the first category; you are free to dicker amongst yourselves for the other three (jarls, freemen and thralls). (Applications for thralls are now being accepted.)

To further simplify matters, there shall be assigned unto each of you (Ourselves excepted) one of two time-honored traditional names: Sven or Gerda. Pick one.

Speaking of rank, as We but lately were: It has come to Our attention that the state of the undergarments of Our good folk is a disgrace, offending the senses and endangering public welfare. We hereby declare that same shall be changed four times a day. Underwear is to be worn on the outside, so that We can check.
